“The strongest oak of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It’s the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for its existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun.” ― Napoleon Hill
Masterminding as defined by Napoleon Hill in his book Think and Grow Rich is: “The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony.”
Sounds simple enough, right? Actually from my experience I have found that the “2 or more people” have to be the right people. What I mean by that is that in order for a mastermind group to function as a team, towards that definite purpose, there needs to be a mashing together of like mindedness and a personality balance to begin with. Without this, the coordination of knowledge as defined by Hill is simply that- knowledge. However, applied knowledge within the spirit of harmony allows for amazing results.
Masterminding is related to synergy, where the result of the many is greater than the result of the few. So if you are looking for results, for change, to be part of something more than what you can individually accomplish, I would encourage you to be real, start or join a mastermind group.
