An Unseen Path

Sometimes our life experiences take us down a road that looks impossible.  The journey before us seems as if it were not meant for us to continue.

I can only imagine what it felt like for Stephen as he became the first follower of Jesus to die for not denying his Messiah.

What was it like for the young shepherd boy David to run towards a GIANT with 5 small stones and a slingshot.

How about the young unmarried virgin Mary- I really can only imagine what that road must have looked like.

There are many examples in the Bible and in our world today where a path lies before us and it seems impossible- if you so face that path today, be reminded and encouraged of what Psalm 77 says:

16 When the Red Sea saw you, O God,
its waters looked and trembled!
The sea quaked to its very depths.
17 The clouds poured down rain;
the thunder rumbled in the sky.
Your arrows of lightning flashed.
18 Your thunder roared from the whirlwind;
the lightning lit up the world!
The earth trembled and shook.
19 Your road led through the sea,
your pathway through the mighty waters—
a pathway no one knew was there! (NLT)

  1. Thank you so much! What an encouraging word. My biggest fear most days is that I made a wrong turn and that’s why I feel like I’ve hit a dead end. Thanks for the reminder that Jesus is the way and He will provide a road through the sea.

    1. It was a great reminder for me as well, some days you feel that the road just stops and there is seemingly no where to go, that is when God steps in and makes the possibilities happen. Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words.
