IN the Beginning- humanity was stainless…
Genesis 3: 6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.
FROM that point on, humanity was stained- talk about a rough day in paradise!
Paradise has never been the same, God performed the first sacrificial act of killing for the skin of animals so that humanity’s disobedience and sin would be covered. That was a rough day in paradise!
EVERYDAY since it has been a rough day in paradise, sinful acts are rampant in our world, yet humanity is evolving. Murderers are getting younger, yet our world is getting better. Lives and families are broken, relationships ruined, but we are more “connected” than ever, yes it is a rough day in paradise.
BUT, Paradise was never forgotten, fallen perhaps, but never forgotten…
