Blood Moon Rising Act III of IV

So we are days away from the beginning of the astronomical events of 2015 to unfold.  On 1 Nisan (20 March) which is the Jewish New Year, a total solar eclipse is to take place.  The meaning of a solar eclipse according to Jewish tradition is that of judgement upon all nations of the world, while the meaning of a lunar eclipse is judgment upon Israel.

Even during the darkness of a solar eclipse, all is not entirely in gloom. The sun is four hundred times further away from us than the moon, but it is also four hundred times larger than the moon (secular scientists call this a “grand coincidence”).

Then 2 weeks after the total solar eclipse comes the third of four consecutive total lunar eclipses (4 April, 28 September) falling on a Biblical appointed times (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles).

What are some events that have happened recently that could put some perspective on where we find ourselves?

2 March 2015- A Judge ruled in favor of Jews being allowed to pray on the Temple Mount.  This is a huge step for the Jews in the rebuilding of their temple. However, the law may be changed but changing mindsets and attitudes is another thing as the police enforcing the Temple Mount have ignored the judges ruling.

“If Iran’s aggression is left unchecked, more will surely follow. At a time when many hope that Iran will join the community of nations, Iran is busy gobbling up the nations.”

3 March 2015- on the eve of Purim, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu gave speech warning of Iran’s possible use of nuclear weapons against Israel.  Purim is the Jewish festival where they remember and celebrate what Esther did for the Jewish people when Haman wanted them destroyed- interesting timings!

Now I have no idea what, if anything is going to happen for the remainder of the year, there are people who are looking for a stock crash in September, could be.  Could there be a coming war in Israel, possibly.  I am not one who predicts what will happen, I am more interested in what is happening.  To me that is where our attention should focus, we can speculate about the future, but we can observe the present.

Smita in Hebrew

What I am observing is that there are signs in the heavens falling on Biblical appointed times, this is a Shmita (Sabbatical) year and a Jubilee year, events are coinciding within these signals from above, and our world is not evolving into a utopia, but is rather sliding on a steep slope of self gratification at any cost.

  1. “I am not one who predicts what will happen, I am more interested in what is happening.”
The purpose of signs is to show us where we are and what road we’re travelling, not what happens when we get there. It would seem that we’re more likely to get into an accident if we get distracted by arguing about the road map rather than watching the road itself. Thanks for the timely reminder!

    1. I have to keep reminding myself as well, sometimes life can be full of distractions and it is hard to see the reality through the fog- we are living in pretty interesting times for sure!

  2. This convinces me more and more that nothing happens by coincidence, but everything and every event is in the almighty hands of our dear Heavenly Father. I agree we are living in very interesting times. Thanks for sharing.
